Job description
Background
The GameBrains Project is a consortium of: NEAT Sciences Ltd University College Dubin National Digital Research Centre
Objective
The objective of the GameBrains Project is to create a library of reusable AI components. This library will help developers of AAA titles to reduce their development cycles, improve end-user experience and help companies mitigate development risk.
Requirements
Candidates should have:
Some gaming artificial intelligence development experience
A primary degree or equivalent experience in computer science, mathematics, physics or engineering
Strong C/C++ development skills
Strong OO design skills
Excellent written and oral presentation skills
and it would be desirable to have some or all of the following:
Evolutionary algorithms experience
Unreal or CryEngine development experience
Autodesk Kynapse or other AI Middleware experience
Visual Studio experience
You will be part of a small team creating cutting edge software and forging new technical paths. You must have the ability to work under pressure and take the initiative to find new innovative solutions to tricky problems.
Salary
30,000 - 35,000 commensurate with qualifications and experience
Location
National Digital Research Centre, Dublin
