At least one Graduate Research Assistantship position at Kansas State University involving a variety of research and development activities leading to a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering is available. Key Responsibilities: Development of multi-objective evolutionary algorithms and other machine learning techniques for medium voltage DC shipboard power systems.
Qualifications: M.S. degree required in electrical and/or computer engineering required. Experience with computational intelligence, power systems modeling, or some Matlab programming preferred.
Starting Date: Summer semester, 2010 strongly preferred.
