Website update on work-based pensions reform
In the 2008 Pensions Act, The Pensions Regulator was given a new statutory objective to maximise compliance with employer duties, including the requirement to automatically enrol eligible jobholders into a qualifying pension scheme which meets minimum requirements.
To help employers understand their new duties, the regulator has updated their website with information about work-based pensions reform and have made some improvements which all their customers should benefit from.
The website now includes areas specifically tailored for employers, pensions professionals and trustees. For individuals looking for advice on pensions there is clear signposting to other resources.
The regulator has introduced:
A document library
Improved search capability
Clear signposting to all online services such as Exchange, the Trustee toolkit and Pensionwise
